Today I am doing my dream job as a wedding consultant and friend. I love everything about it, I love the challenge but most of all I love the look on my Bride and Groom's faces when their dreams come true knowing I have been part of that. It is hard work but very rewarding!

I had my own business as an outside caterer and worked with weddings and private functions for over 10 years so I have lots of knowledge of the industry. I worked in the hotel industry for a couple of years as a wedding coordinator but began to find this very frustrating.

My role as a Wedding Coordinator taught me many things, the main thing being that many couples were trying to organise a wedding whilst trying to hold down full time jobs, having little or no experience at organising weddings, no one to turn to for help or advice. I realised very early on how these vulnerable couples needed a friend to turn to for advice, for reassurance and mainly support. That is why I so wanted to offer this service. Over the years I have learnt many things, I know what works and what doesn't, where money is wasted and where money is needed. I also learnt most couples do not have the extra cash for wedding planners, that's why I give you the choice of asking for help at whatever stage you are at with your wedding plans and for as much of my time as is needed. Being your very own personal Wedding Friend!

Experience. With the experience I have gained over the years I can help advise you on all areas of your big day. I can point how to save money and help you think about how you would like to see your money go the furthest.

Budgeting. This I believe to be one of the hardest things for a bride and groom to plan as it is not something they do often and do not really know when something is being over charged for.

Suppliers. I can put you in touch with, or organise for you, suppliers who I know are reliable and trustworthy. Having built up good relationships with my network of suppliers ensuring you the best service possible.

Mediator. An area we would like to hope there are no problems with but sometimes a calm word from an 'expert' can help.

Stress Free. A calming influence is a great recipe for a stress free day for all, not just the bride and groom but all the bridal party. I am here to help with everything; I always have a tissue in my pocket and a calming word.

Working together, with all the suppliers and the venue to ensure all runs smoothly on the big day.

A friend to talk to when you need me. I am always available on the other end of the telephone or even to pop over and visit.

Ease. I am happy to visit you and your family at your home so we can discuss your requirements in a relaxed and familiar enviroment.

On the day. If none of the above are things you think you do not want help with but would like someone you know and can trust to oversee things on the day, from dressing the tables to announcing the speeches than I can do that too.
