What is a Wedding Celebrant ?


A celebrant is an independent individual who is trained in providing you with a custom made ceremony designed to celebrate any wedding in a way which is personal to you, without legal obligation or government restriction. There are very few limitations as to what can be included in a celebrant wedding ceremony.

How do I legalise my marriage?

You can have a legal wedding in the country you live in, at your local Register office. For help and advice click on the link;

Should I be legally married before I have my Celebrant Wedding Ceremony?

Not necessarily, most couples do though but they treat it as the legal side and the Celebrant Wedding Ceremony as their Wedding Day. It can however, be legalised after the Wedding.

Where can I hold my Wedding Ceremony?

The great thing about a Ceremony conducted by a Celebrant is that it can be held anywhere as it I not legally binding.

Does it matter what culture, faith or religion I am?

Not at all, all cultures, faiths and religions are very welcome. The service is personally designed to suit everyone.

Do you offer Same-Sex Weddings?

Of course! I have been involved in many same sex weddings.

We don’t want to legalise our marriage at all, is this allowed?

Yes, this is your decision as to whether you want to legalise your marriage.

Can I include a family pet at my ceremony?

Yes they are all welcome as long as the venue allows it

Can I write my own wedding vows?

Yes, it makes it very personal and sentimental

Can I include readings and poems in my ceremony?

Yes, you can invite guests or relatives to read them if you wish

Will we meet you before the ceremony?

Yes, for me this is very important as I would like to know all about you both so I can make the service personal to you and get a feel to what you want from your ceremony
