For this I will visit you in your home, assess if I can help you save money on your big day and between us we can decide how little or how much of my time you would like. If you decide after the consultation that you do not think I can help you then I will wish you well and that will be that.

Traditions
Something old, Something new, Something borrowed, Something blue and a silver sixpence in your shoe.
- Old -- Something old symbolises the bride's old life.
- New -- Something new symbolises the bride's new life.
- Borrowed -- Something Borrowed is usually a garter from a past bride who is thought to be passing on her good will and happiness to the new bride.
- Blue -- Something Blue symbolises purity, faithfulness and commitment to her new husband.
- Silver Sixpence -- A silver sixpence in your shoe promotes wealth.
- Rings -- These date back to Roman times, it is the most important piece of jewellery you will ever own.
- Best Man -- The best man goes back to the days when the Groom kidnapped the Bride and the best man was there to protect him from his in laws.
- Confetti -- Confetti goes back to Pagan times and promoted fertility and prosperity, rice and grain has now been replaced by paper petals.
- Cake -- The fruit and nuts in the cake symbolise fertility, the top tier being kept for the Christening of the first born.
- Dress -- The traditions of not letting the groom see the dress before the day is the one tradition that most Brides adhere to.
- The Veil -- The lifting of the veil by the groom symbolises the bride's purity.
- The first Kiss -- This is the Bride and Grooms way of publicly accepting the marriage contract.
- First Purchase -- Who ever makes the first purchase after the wedding is said to be the boss – the bride gives the chief bridesmaid a coin for a pin.
- Honeymoon -- This goes back to the time when grooms kidnapped their brides, only the groom knew where the honeymoon was and took his bride into hiding.
- The flowers -- The bridal bouquet is thrown over the brides shoulder to all the single female guests. The lady who catches it is said to be the next to marry and will have good luck. The groom chooses a flower from the bridal bouquet to wear in his button hole as an expression of his love for his bride.
- Garter -- The groom throws the brides garter into a group of unmarried male guests in the same way.
- Over the threshold -- The groom carries the bride over the threshold symbolising her new life. Alternatively it also goes back to the times the groom kidnapped his bride.
